To ensure the quality and academic integrity of submitted papers, our journal has established the following originality requirements:
1. Originality Standards
Independent Research: All submitted papers must be based on research independently conducted by the authors and must not have been published in other journals or conferences.
Citation Norms: All cited literature and data must be clearly marked with their sources, and any form of plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
Data Authenticity: All data and experimental results must be genuine and reliable, with no alterations or fabrications.
2. Plagiarism Detection
Detection Tools: Our journal employs advanced plagiarism detection tools, including but not limited to Turnitin, iThenticate, and CNKI, to ensure the originality of all submissions. Typically, we primarily use Turnitin for plagiarism detection.
Plagiarism Threshold: The similarity index of submitted papers must not exceed 30%. Papers exceeding this threshold must be revised and resubmitted by the authors.
Detection Process: The editorial board will conduct plagiarism detection during the initial review stage, and the results will serve as a crucial basis for manuscript evaluation.
3. Handling Measures
Minor Plagiarism: For papers with a similarity index between 30% and 35%, the editorial board will request the authors to revise and resubmit the manuscript.
Severe Plagiarism: For papers with a similarity index exceeding 35%, the editorial board will reject the manuscript outright and reserves the right to take further action against the authors.
Academic Misconduct: For papers found to involve plagiarism, data fabrication, or other forms of academic misconduct, the editorial board will take stringent measures, including but not limited to retraction and notifying the authors’ affiliated institutions.
4. Author Declarations
Originality Declaration: All authors must sign an originality declaration upon submission, confirming the originality of the manuscript and the authenticity of the data.
Joint Responsibility: All listed authors share joint responsibility for the content and originality of the manuscript.
5. Appeals and Feedback
Appeal Channels: Authors who disagree with the plagiarism detection results may submit an appeal via email to the editorial board, which will organize experts for a re-evaluation.
Feedback Mechanism: The editorial board will promptly provide feedback on the detection results and handling decisions to ensure transparent and efficient communication.
