Abstract

The progression of modern computing systems hinges significantly on advancements in chip design, which in turn, are influenced by effective management strategies. This paper investigates various techniques aimed at optimizing chip performance and energy efficiency through strategic management of architectural innovations, materials science, and fabrication processes. By focusing on the integration of these advancements into current manufacturing practices, the study aims to meet the demands of high-performance computing while minimizing energy consumption. Key innovations such as multi-core designs and heterogeneous computing are examined, alongside material advancements including graphene and silicon carbide. Additionally, fabrication processes like Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUVL) and 3D stacking are analyzed. The study utilizes experimental data to measure improvements in speed, efficiency, and power usage. The findings provide a comprehensive analysis of how these innovations impact chip design and offer practical recommendations for management strategies in future development. By addressing both performance and energy efficiency, this study aims to guide industry leaders in creating more powerful and sustainable computing solutions.
